I have an iPhone that is unlocked.....?

I want to hit the master reset on so I can start over. Will it lock my iPhone again, will it clear my contacts, and will I have to go thru the unlocking process again???? I don't care if it erases my music and stuff like that ad long as it doest erase my contacts.
