Ticking noise coming from my trans am?

have a 95 trans am with the lt1, 150k miles on it, it runs good for the most part but theres a ticking noise that comes from the front left side of the car, pretty annoying . any ideas? also my car really has trouble startin gup in the rain, any idea what this can be? thanks
