Can't sleep because of anxiety?
Hi... So, I've been having trouble sleeping since the summer started, though it's gotten progressively worse... I can't sleep during the nighttime, I can usually only fall asleep around 6 or seven when it's light out.... I think it's mostly because every time I try to sleep my anxiety kicks in and I start worrying about absolutely everything for no reason, and usually it gets to the point where I have to turn the lights back on and read or something just to calm down. I've tried everything to start sleeping normal hours (about 11pm/12am to 10 am or so) but nothing seems to work; I even stayed up for about 30 hours straight so I could go to sleep at about 9, that was yesterday, and now i'm right back where I started. I also try breathing exercises and relaxation and whatnot all the time, and those never work. What do I do?
