Having a hysterectomy in 3 weeks!?

I am having a hysterectomy in 3 weeks! I'm still very young 27years old but have health issues and tried everything before and hysterectomy is now my only solution. I never wanted kids and neither does my husband. My mum told me that once you lose your uterus, a man would not feel the same about you! My husband is very supportive of my surgery... Do i run the risk of losing him after my surgery
