How do i ask my mom for a parakeet?

i have asked my mom for a nother pet bird.....she said no because we have too much animals....we only have a dog and cat. I was wondering how should i as k without her getting mad or fustrated? Im 12 and have done tons of studies on how to take care of parakeets and know eveything there is to know. please help me.
