HPV question? Please help me understand more about it.......?

Okay I have a friend that is 8month pregenant with HPV and her boyfriend does not know about her having the STD. I'm more worried about the baby then anything. Could the baby get it??? Nother thing she said that since she just has the HPV virsus that her boyfriend will not get it..... Please help me understand alittle more... Thank you :)
