Sounds like bad Wheel bearing but mechanic checked my tire and it doesnt wobble?

When the mechanic checked your front tire/wheel, did he have it on a lift, ( hoist), and look under the vehicle? If not, I recommend a new mechanic, and request the vehicle be put on a frame lift hoist, and run the front wheels, if front wheel drive, at about 20 m/p/hour while turning your steering wheel to the right and left, and listen for the noise, and check to ensure there is nothing bent, or wobbling. If it is a rear wheel drive vehicle, turn the tire/wheel by hand, and check to see if the tire is running true, and quietly.
